Faside Got The Love

Jax, our beautiful Dressage stallion, who is now lisenced and has been proffesionally broken with an exciting future with in the show ring and british dressage.

Jax was born on the 10th of may 2016, bred locally at the Faside stud in Edinburgh and has been an absolute delight from the start, he is completely unspoilt and is a great example of a young stallion with manners to die for, he oozes presense and will be a real show stopper, we just can't wait to get him out there.

We do plan to stand Jax at stud but we will be aiming him for British Dresssage Age classes and want to concentrate on his ridden career first.

He has some of the best dressage blood lines and looks just like his sire Grey Flannel!

Grey Flanell impresses with his talent for collection and his natural cadence. In 2014, he triumphed as the best four-year-old stallion at the Pavo Cup, won competitions for young dressage horses, and qualified for the German Championships. Since then, he has won dressage competitions up to Inter II. Grey Flanell, one of the most striking stallions among the younger dressage sires, has already produced several licensed and premium sons. His offspring have won numerous competitions for young riding and dressage horses, such as Aurelia OLD (4yo), Oldenburg Regional Champion, “Brillantring” Mare and finalist at the German Championships, and Go Twitter OLD (5yo), who was placed at the German Championships. Geniale also took part in the German Championships for 5-year-olds and HP Grace was second Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg “Brillantring”. His offspring have also been sold for top prices at auctions. His sire Gribaldi was Trakehner Champion Stallion, victorious at Grand Prix level with Edward Gal/NED and Trakehner Stallion of the Year in 2008. In the Netherlands, he was honoured with the top predicate “preferent” and led the WBFSH world ranking of the best dressage sires in the world in 2014. San Amour: repeatedly proven sire and reliable producer of Championship horses

Absolutely stunning bay colt by the superb SJ - Hector van d'abdijhoeve, out of a shannondale sarco X ghareeb mare.

Hector is a charismatic horse with real warrior spirit on course. Combining a perfectly balanced canter with outstanding power and scope, he shows a lot of respect at the fence. His harmonious movements and great temperament meet the demands of today's breeders.

His sire Cabrio vd HEFFINCK is not only the European Champion Young Riders 2014 with Olivier Phillipaerts but also carries the precious blood of CASSINI I and CALATO. Hector’s dam Lady Dy was successful in CIC2* classes and is a uterine sister to Optimum vd Wellington (CSI5*). Through her, Hector’s origins go back to UTRILLO VD HEFFINCK and so to the legendary breeding CLINTON x HEARTBREAKER (like Cornet Obolensky). The very chic and talented FUEGO DU PRELET (CSI5* winner with Dirk Demeersmann) completes the incredible pedigree of Hector.
